CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Brandon Giles scored 25 points to lead Western Carolina past the College of Charleston 65-57 in Southern Conference action Saturday. The Catamounts (8-17, 4-11 SoCon) got 24 points off 21 Cougar turnovers and gave the ball up just eight times. Western Carolina used an 11-5 run to end the half and take a 30-27 lead at the break.
