Modin scores twice as Blue Jackets rout Red Wings

DETROIT (AP) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets went from their worst to best in a matter of 48 hours. The Detroit Red Wings settled for their worst, again. Fredrik Modin scored twice and Columbus beat Detroit 5-1 on Friday night, handing the NHL-leading Red Wings their fifth-straight loss.
