Scouts, Inc. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 There has been at least one tight end selected in the first round of each of the past eight drafts, but that trend is in danger of coming to an end. As things stand right now, the only two tight ends from the 2008 class who look capable of sneaking into the bottom of the first round are Fred Davis and John Carlson. Davis is the more athletic of the two and is coming off a breakout season as USC's leading receiver with 62 catches, 881 yards and eight touchdowns. Carlson, on the other hand, saw ...
