VINA DEL MAR, Chile -- Top-seeded Flavia Pennetta defeated Greta Arn 6-2, 6-2 on Tuesday to advance to the second round of the Cachantun Cup. Jelena Kostanic Tosic rallied past Bethanie Mattek of the United States 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (3). Qualifier Rossana de los Rios upset Carla Suarez Navarro 7-6 (8), 6-4, and Maria Elena Camerin defeated Melisa Miranda 6-3, 7-5.
