After about a million trade rumors, the first significant deal leading up to the Feb. 26 trade deadline went down Monday. The Senators sent defenseman Joe Corvo and winger Patrick Eaves to the Hurricanes for winger Cory Stillman and defenseman Mike Commodore. While I'm sure there are several compelling reasons why Carolina made this deal, I love the move for Ottawa.
