Pat Knight said late Tuesday that he will meet with Texas Tech athletic director Gerald Myers next week to finalize the five-year deal that he agreed to two years ago that was set to take into effect when his father, Bob Knight, resigned. Knight said he and Myers talked Tuesday before the Red Raiders left for Waco for Wednesday's game at Baylor (ESPNU, 9 ET).
