Tuesday, February 5, 2008 PARIS -- Defending champion Nadia Petrova was upset by Kateryna Bondarenko 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-4 on Tuesday in the first round of the Open Gaz de France. Amelie Mauresmo, a two-time winner, cruised past American qualifier Julie Ditty 6-1, 6-2. The 18th-ranked Mauresmo will play Eleni Daniilidou, who pushed the Frenchwoman to three sets in Zurich last year. "I'm wary of her because she's quite talented," Mauresmo said. "She's versatile.
