Saturday, February 2, 2008 KATY, Texas (AP) -- Kevin Sims scored 22 points as Tulane won its fifth straight game by beating Rice 84-77 on Saturday night and keeping the Owls winless in Conference USA. Sims went 13-of-16 from the free throw line for Tulane (15-6, 5-2), which took took a 39-33 halftime lead then shot 68 percent from the field to close out the game.
