Basically, it's how a player's value is inflated or deflated depending on the position he or she plays. If it's a position laden with fantasy talent, the value goes down. If the position is a statistical dust bowl, the value goes up -- and that's where it gets interesting. In football, we'd be talking about tight ends. In baseball, we'd discuss catchers.
