CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) -- Reserve Negus McKenna had eight 3-pointers for 24 points and Brandon Giles added 20 in Western Carolina's 72-60 victory over Elon on Thursday night. McKenna was 8 of 10 from behind the arc to lead the Catamounts (6-12, 2-6 Southern Conference). McKenna missed both attemps from two-point range.
