ESPN.com Monday, January 14, 2008 There's a new rule on the PGA Tour that reared its ugly head during this past week's Sony Open. Players hated it, fans were confounded by it and fantasy owners were downright devastated. Let's talk about MDFs. The three-letter designation doesn't stand for Made Daly Furious. (Although JD was angry, calling it a "stupid rule.") It doesn't stand for Many Drives Fewer. (Although it did mean that 18 players who made the cut did not compete for the final 36 holes.) Nor does it mean More Dorm ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
