BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Jeff Allen hit a free throw with 12.4 seconds to play Saturday and Virginia Tech rallied to beat Maryland 67-66 in its ACC home opener. The Hokies (10-6, 1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) trailed almost throughout.
