A former top-10 pick, Vancouver is Beech's sixth team

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Vancouver Canucks claimed center Kris Beech off waivers from the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. Beech had five goals and four assists in 16 games for Columbus this season while also spending time in the minors with Syracuse of the American Hockey League.
