Other WRs must lead the charge

The possible loss of Pro Bowl TE Antonio Gates, who dislocated his left big toe in last week's win over the Titans, would effect the Chargers in many ways as they prepare for a good Colts defense. Playing without Gates would place even more pressure on QB Philip Rivers and the Chargers' passing attack. Simply put, Gates is the Chargers' top receiving threat and the best tight end in the NFL.
