When I was a television writer in Los Angeles, one of the perks was getting special "for your consideration" DVDs in the mail; award-worthy movies that were still in theaters to watch without leaving the comfort of my couch. Of course, every two minutes, the words "Property of Disney Studios" would flash across the bottom of the screen to remind me that Mickey and his lawyers didn't want me to share my sneak peek with anyone. Also, the DVDs never had any bonus features, so forget about bloopers ...
