Oilers earn first regulation win in 17 games behind Garon's shutout

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- Edmonton coach Craig MacTavish couldn't remember the last time the Oilers won a game in regulation. It's tough to blame him for not knowing since its been over a month. Mathieu Garon made 35 saves for his third shutout of the season and Ales Hemsky and Shawn Horcoff had a goal and assist each for the Edmonton Oilers, who beat the New York Islanders 4-0 on Monday night and earned their first regulation win in 17 games.
