Sunday, January 6, 2008 HOBART, Australia -- Australian Casey Dellacqua advanced to the second round of the Hobart International on Sunday after her opponent, No. 8 seed Anabel Medina Garrigues, retired because of a lower back injury. Dellacqua was ahead 5-4 in the first set when the 34th-ranked Spanish player decided she could not continue.
