FT. LAUDERDALE -- Virginia Tech has tried this two-quarterback thing before. The first time, it didn't work. In 2003, quarterbacks Marcus Vick and Bryan Randall were each given a quarter in the first half to prove themselves as the best and continue playing in the second half.
