COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- The maturation of Nikolai Zherdev is pulling Columbus fans out of their seats and leaving a positive impression on his teammates. Zherdev scored two spectacular goals and had a career-best four points to help the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 Saturday night.
