Pardon me if this column seems to lack any flow or direction. I was quite distracted Sunday while watching all of the NFL action. I've moved into a new neighborhood and the local kids keep telling me that every year around this time all the homes are invaded by some fat, costumed freak. Apparently he's been doing it for years.
