After a dreadful 1-4-1 slide, Rangers coach Tom Renney figured it was time for some changes. That's why he made the inevitable move to reunite center Scott Gomez with star right winger Jaromir Jagr. Let's face it, as well as young Brandon Dubinsky played while centering Jagr and as good an idea it was at the time to move Jagr to Dubinsky's line, you can't have your best winger, a first-ballot Hall of Famer, skating for months at a time with your third-best center.
