Vandiver, Podziemska help Wyoming edge Iowa to win Hawkeye Challenge

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Aubrey Vandiver and Justyna Podziemska each scored 14 points to lead Wyoming (No. 22 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) to a 54-50 win over Iowa on Sunday in the championship game of the Hawkeye Challenge. Wyoming (8-1) led 28-18 at the break, but Iowa's Kristi Smith sparked a 13-1 run with consecutive driving layups -- the second part of a three-point play -- to put the Hawkeye's up 47-43 with 4:03 left in the game.
