CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) -- Michael Porrini scored 17 points to lead Western Carolina to an 84-64 victory over North Carolina Central on Wednesday night. Blake Gallagher added 11 points and 12 rebounds and Brandon Giles added 10 points for the Catamounts (3-5), who snapped a three-game losing streak, with their most recent loss an 86-84 setback at home against the College of Charleston.
