NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Van Chancellor was impressed with his team's stifling defense. Sylvia Fowles scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help LSU (No. 7 ESPN/ USA Today, No. 8 AP) cruise to an easy 52-36 win over Tulane on Sunday.
