Going into Costanza mode and picking against my instincts, fittingly, got me a winning record against the line last week going 8-7. The good: getting the four-point margin in Pitt-Rutgers right; the bad: thinking Northwestern would hang with Illinois; and the ugly: thinking Michigan would keep it closer against Ohio State. This week's picks: Thursday, Nov. 22 USC 14, Arizona State 13: I expect the Trojans defense to control the game. USC's D-line should completely bottle up the ASU offense. But ...
