LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Tory Cooper rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns to lead The Citadel to a 70-28 win over VMI on Saturday. Freshman Bart Blanchard threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score for The Citadel (7-4), which scored 70 points for the second time this season. The Bulldogs beat Webber International 76-0 on Sept. 8 to break a 14-year-old school record for points scored. It marked the second straight week that VMI (2-9) gave up that many points.
