Wednesday, November 14, 2007 The Knicks claim they only buy out players they believe can no longer play NBA-level basketball. That's revisionist history since Jalen Rose, Shandon Anderson, Maurice Taylor and Dan Dickau all signed with other teams after being paid millions by the Knicks to go away. The Knicks' sorry memory means there's a precedent for them buying out the troublesome Stephon Marbury.
