Texas battling injuries, fighting for BCS bid

Texas coach Mack Brown has jumped on the bandwagon for a change in the Bowl Championship Series that would allow a conference to provide more than one at-large team. Current BCS rules limit a conference to one at-large team per conference, but the Big 12 could potentially have three at-large teams that would merit consideration along with its champion.
