Special to ESPN.com Wednesday, November 14, 2007 Junior tailback Steve Slaton has not been as explosive this season as he was his first two years at West Virginia. Slaton's yards per carry is down by 1.7 yards from last season, to 5.3, going into Saturday's critical matchup at No. 22 Cincinnati (ESPN, 7:45 p.m. ET). Don't get the wrong idea. Slaton still projects to finish with 1,180 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns, but that would be 500 yards under last season's total with only a slightly lesser workload.
