Sparks' 17 points help No. 11 Aggies tame Mustangs

DALLAS (AP) -- Takia Sparks scored 17 points, and Ashlaa Horton added 15 rebounds as No. 11 Texas A&M rallied to beat SMU 62-57 Friday night. Texas A&M trailed 36-26 at halftime, but turned it up defensively in the second half of its season opener. SMU hit only 5-of-27 shots from the field after halftime.
