Big Ten looks to keep grip on Midwest recruits

In terms of Final Four appearances, no basketball conference has been more successful than the Big Ten with a record number 39 trips. Also, Big Ten member schools have played in more NCAA basketball tournaments, 180, than any other conference. Since recruiting is the lifeblood for success in collegiate athletics, it is apparent that these programs have recruited well over the years.
