QUEBEC CITY -- Top-seeded Nicole Vaidisova dropped out of the Bell Challenge on Wednesday night because of a right wrist injury after splitting the first two sets with Czech compatriot Renata Voracova. Vaidisova won the opening set 6-2 but the lost the second set 3-6 before stopping play in the first-round match.
