BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -- Cory Koenig rushed for 259 yards and four touchdowns as South Dakota State beat Cal Poly 48-35 in the Jackrabbits' Great West Conference opener on Saturday. Koenig ran 21 times and scored on runs of 32, 46, 52 and 11 yards for SDSU (3-4, 1-0 GWC), which snapped a four-game winning streak by the Mustangs (4-3, 1-1).
