Weis makes QB change, but it's likely too late

The choice was clear for Charlie Weis, but should he have made the move in late August, not mid-October? Weis placed Notre Dame's future on hold Tuesday and opted to play for the present when he announced junior Evan Sharpley as the starting quarterback for the USC game. Sharpley will be the third man to start under center for the nation's worst offense (190.9 ypg).
