Bucs, in need of backfield help, acquire Bennett from Chiefs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired seventh-year veteran tailback Michael Bennett from the Kansas City Chiefs.The Chiefs received undisclosed draft picks in 2008 and 2009 based on performance criteria. "We believe that the addition of Michael Bennett will strengthen our running back position," Bucs general manager Bruce Allen said in a statement.
