A-Rod's agent is campaigning for his client with more vigor than presidential candidates in Iowa, presenting his platform and hinting, with the same talking points, that the third baseman will opt out of his contract in conversations with Jack Curry and Mark Feinsand and Kat O'Brien and Ron Blum and others. It's possible that Scott Boras is rattling this threat to create as much leverage as he possibly can before the opt-out date, to drive any forthcoming offer from the Yankees -- and then he' ...
