Special to ESPN.com Wednesday, October 10, 2007 Here's a team-by-team breakdown of the first half of the 2007 SEC season: Alabama Crimson Tide When Alabama put together a last-minute drive to edge last year's division champion Arkansas, 41-38, on Sept. 15, everybody was gushing that $4 million a year in new Tide coach Nick Saban's wallet was a great investment. Saban didn't get too high about the win, because he saw his defense get gashed for 450 yards (301 rushing) by the Razorbacks. The only reason Bama was able to survive that was quarter ...
