Saturday, October 6, 2007 MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Dan Carpenter kicked a 34-yard field goal with 26 seconds remaining Saturday to lift Montana to a 24-23 victory over Eastern Washington. Eastern Washington (3-2, 1-2 Big Sky) had taken a 23-21 lead on a 39-yard field goal by Felipe Macias with 2:20 remaining. Montana (5-0, 2-0), the top-ranked team in the Football Championship Subdivision, took over on its own 38.
