DENVER (AP) -- Andrew Brunette scored the game-winning goal late in the third period to lead the Colorado Avalanche past the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2 on Saturday night in the final exhibition game for both teams. Brunette led an odd-man rush and took a flip pass from Jaroslav Hlinka near the left faceoff circle and wristed the puck past former Avalanche goalie David Aebischer.
