Like a lot of divorces, the split of Barry Bonds from the Giants is ugly, with a lot of hurt feelings. Bonds believes that the Giants knew long ago that they were going to dump him at the end of this year and announced his departure on his Web site, leaving the team to scramble in response. And Bonds was not a part of the press conference, curtly telling reporters that they had his statement. It will get uglier still. Bonds will inevitably take some shots at the Giants, in interviews or maybe ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
