According to a report on an Olympics website, aroundtherings.com, vert skating will most likely not make the cut for the 2012 Olympics in London. Plans to bring skateboarding into the Olympics for 2012 are said to be on the fritz, according to Around the Rings. Discussions have been underway for months between the International Cycling Union and leaders of the International Skateboard Federation about joining forces in bringing skating in, under the cycling umbrella, of all things.
