Top-seeded Golovin advances to Slovenia quarterfinals

PORTOROZ, Slovenia -- Top-seeded Tatiana Golovin of France reached the quarterfinals of the Slovenia Open on Wednesday by beating Karin Knapp of Italy 6-4, 6-3. The 19-year-old Golovin, ranked 19th in the world, saved five break points. "I just used the opportunities that I had," Golovin said.
