WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Curtis Painter passed for 360 yards and three touchdowns, and Purdue beat Central Michigan 45-22 Saturday. Painter completed 29 of 39 passes. He has 13 touchdown passes and no interceptions this season. Purdue gained 586 yards, including 402 in the first half. The Boilermakers' point total came despite five turnovers, including four fumbles. Kory Sheets ran for a career-high 144 yards and two touchdowns for Purdue (3-0).
