Saturday, September 1, 2007 HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) -- Damion Fletcher ran for 156 yards and a touchdown as Southern Miss beat Tennessee-Martin 35-13 on Saturday. Fletcher scored on a 4-yard run in the third quarter to put Southern Miss up 21-6. The sophomore also eclipsed the 1,500-yard mark in his career during the game. It was the first meeting between the Golden Eagles (1-0) and the Skyhawks (0-1), who are members of the Football Championship Subdivision, formerly Division I-AA.
