Saturday, September 1, 2007 ATHENS, Ohio (AP) -- Running back Kalvin McRae ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns, and Josh Abrams blocked three punts to lead Ohio past Gardner-Webb 36-14 on Saturday. The last blocked punt for Abrams rolled into the back of the end zone for a safety in the fourth quarter. Senior quarterback Brad Bower took most of the snaps and was 15-of-25 for 180 yards, including a 34-yard strike to Chido Nwokocha in the second quarter.
