The Kelly Holcomb trade to Minnesota was inevitable. The Vikings had been talking all summer to the Eagles about Holcomb in case things didn't work out in the exhibition season with Tarvaris Jackson and Brooks Bollinger. Jackson looked a little better than expected in three preseason games. Bollinger didn't look that good, particularly in the Seattle game.
