Sunday, August 26, 2007 Kansas City Chiefs: Seeking to add veteran experience to its return game, Kansas City signed free-agent specialist Eddie Drummond to a one-year contract. Drummond, who averaged 26.6 yards on 41 kickoff returns in a 2004 Pro Bowl season and 13.2 yards on 24 punt runbacks, was released Thursday by the Lions, who wanted him to also play wide receiver, and that made him a free agent.
