Dodgers place Garciaparra on 15-day DL, recall Hill

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers' postseason hopes took another hit on Tuesday when third baseman Nomar Garciaparra was placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained left calf muscle. Garciaparra said the injury has plagued him for more than a week. "We all have injuries and you deal with them.
