Florida RB James gets probation, community service for drug charge

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida running back Brandon James pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge Monday, was placed on six months' probation and received community service. James, a sophomore from St. Augustine, was ordered to perform 10 hours of community service and pay $226 in court costs. He also could pay an additional $100 in lieu of the 10 hours.
