Scherer, Friermood look for repeat, berth in Redfish Cup championship

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Robert Scherer and Blaien Friermood, fresh off their record-setting victory in the Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup Western Division tournament at Kemah, Texas, six weeks ago, are not only hoping for a second win in a row here this week, they practically have to duplicate the feat in order to qualify for the year-end Redfish Cup championship.
